Ericsson has launched NetCloud Private, a new solution that allows organisations to manage Ericsson Cradlepoint wireless WAN infrastructure from customer-controlled environments. Designed for governments, critical infrastructure operators and other regulated organisations, the platform keeps network-management and telemetry data within the customer’s environment.
NetCloud Private provides centralised management for onboarding, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and software updates across distributed wireless routers. The platform is designed to support data-residency, security and governance requirements, with customers able to host it in their own data centres.
The solution is already being deployed in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, with additional Gulf deployments in progress. Ericsson said NetCloud Private will be generally available globally from October 2026, giving organisations greater control over how their wireless networks and associated data are managed.
