Telecel Ghana has launched its 2026 SME Month, themed “Connect to Growth: Unlock More,” with a focus on helping small and medium-sized businesses scale and achieve sustainable growth.
The month-long campaign will provide SMEs across Ghana with practical support in business skills, technology, market access, mentorship and networking. A key initiative is the free Train-to-Scale programme, organised with the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), which will cover business skills, mentorship, content creation and Telecel Cash Merchant training.
The programme comes as Ghana has more than 2.6 million business establishments, with about 92% operating as informal micro businesses, highlighting the need to help entrepreneurs transition into sustainable and scalable enterprises.
Another highlight will be The CEOs Unscripted with Delay, featuring conversations with successful business founders on their experiences, challenges, technology choices and growth strategies. The Telecel Business Runway will also take the SME Month activities beyond Accra to the Western Region.
The campaign is being championed by Telecel Business’s Boss Plan, which offers SMEs high-volume, non-expiry data and voice bundles alongside customer outreach and SMS marketing tools.
Telecel Ghana says the initiative builds on previous SME Month programmes and reflects its commitment to supporting entrepreneurs through digital solutions, skills development, business connections and growth opportunities.
