MTN Ghana Foundation Commissions GH¢946K ICT and Robotics Centre in Kumasi

The MTN Ghana Foundation has commissioned a GH¢946,189.71 ICT and Robotics Centre at New Asafo M/A Basic School in Kumasi to enhance STEM education and expand digital learning opportunities for pupils. The fully equipped facility, which is expected to directly benefit about 270 students while serving other schools within the Kumasi Metropolis, features 35 all-in-one computer workstations, robotics kits, refurbished classrooms and upgraded infrastructure.

Speaking at the commissioning, MTN Ghana’s General Manager for the Northern Sector, Nii Adotey Mingle, said the project reflects the Foundation’s commitment to advancing digital inclusion and equipping young learners with coding, robotics and digital literacy skills needed for the future. He encouraged teachers to integrate the facility into classroom instruction and urged pupils to embrace innovation as a pathway to careers in science, engineering and technology.
