Telecel Ghana has presented GH₵1 million to Adiza Ibrahim, the first monthly winner of its M’ahitti Promo.
Adiza, a widowed mother of eight from Prang in the Bono East Region, was surprised to learn she had won the grand prize after opting into the promotion at her daughter’s encouragement.
The prize presentation took place in Yeji, bringing together her family, community members and the media.
Adiza said the money will help her return her children to school and establish businesses for herself and her eldest child, who has completed an apprenticeship.
The M’ahitti Promo offers GH₵100 daily to 100 customers, GH₵20,000 weekly to up to six customers, and GH₵1 million grand prizes.
Customers can participate for free through *500#, by texting WIN to 500, or via the Telecel Play App. Points are earned through qualifying airtime, bundle purchases and Telecel Cash deposits.
