Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia and SAL Logistics Services have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in transportation, logistics and digital transformation in the Kingdom.
The partnership will explore the use of Huawei’s technologies, including 5G, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and green energy, to support the digitalisation of logistics zones and improve operational efficiency. The two companies will also explore developing joint digital solutions and services for the Saudi logistics sector.
As part of the MoU, SAL will explore establishing an inventory and distribution hub to support Huawei’s operations in Saudi Arabia and becoming an approved logistics services provider for the technology company. The collaboration supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals for digital transformation, business growth and a more efficient logistics ecosystem.
