Telecel Ghana trains 100 girls in coding, robotics and cybersecurity

Telecel Ghana has hosted 100 girls from the Upper West and Volta Regions as part of the government’s Girls in ICT initiative.

The programme, organised by the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology and Innovation, provided participants with hands-on training in coding, robotics and cybersecurity at Telecel Ghana’s headquarters.

The initiative aims to strengthen the girls’ digital skills and confidence while encouraging them to explore careers in technology.

Telecel Ghana’s participation highlights the importance of public-private partnerships in expanding access to technology education and increasing girls’ participation in ICT.
