Broadspectrum Deploys Technology and Local Expertise to Drive Solutions Across Ghana

Broadspectrum Limited is leveraging technology and local expertise to deliver digital solutions across Ghana, with its work spanning digital infrastructure, agriculture, data centres and public-sector services.

Speaking at the National ICT 2026 Conference in Accra, Group Chief Finance Officer Sam Osew Kwatia said the company’s approach focused on applying technology to practical challenges and creating measurable value for businesses, government and communities.

The company has developed end-to-end solutions covering fibre infrastructure, network services, security systems and digital platforms. In agriculture, its technology solutions support more than six million farmers, representing about 65 per cent of Ghana’s food basket, by providing information to improve farm management and decision-making across the agricultural cycle.

Broadspectrum is also supporting public-sector digitalisation through the deployment of tablets and other digital solutions, while its data-centre operations provide infrastructure for Ghana’s growing demand for secure and reliable data processing.

Mr Kwatia said the company was also investing in local capacity, with about 25 local experts involved in training and supporting businesses and partners. He stressed that technology should go beyond infrastructure to deliver practical solutions, strengthen local capabilities and contribute to Ghana’s digital transformation.
