Telecel Ghana Foundation has organised a HealthFest in Abura, Central Region, as part of this year’s Fetu Afahye celebrations.
Under its Connected Health pillar, the Foundation partnered with healthcare professionals from Cape Coast Metropolitan Hospital and the Divine Mother and Child Foundation to provide residents with free screenings for malaria, hepatitis B, typhoid, HIV and blood glucose, among other conditions.
The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and early detection, while making basic health services more accessible to community members.
Telecel Foundation said the outreach reflects its commitment to using community events to improve healthcare access and educate residents on healthy practices.
