Telecel Ghana’s M’ahitti Promo is rewarding customers across the country, with 17 weekly winners receiving GH¢20,000 each as the four-month campaign continues.
Among the winners are Kennedy Boakye, a cement shop owner in Nkoranza, and 24-year-old Abdul-Jalil Dokurugu of Tamale. Both initially suspected they were being scammed before confirming their winnings at Telecel offices and prize presentation ceremonies.
The promo has so far awarded GH¢100 to 2,842 customers through daily draws, alongside the 17 weekly GH¢20,000 prizes. Overall, Telecel plans to give away more than GH¢5.1 million, including daily prizes, weekly cash rewards and GH¢1 million monthly grand prizes.
Customers can participate for free by dialling *500#, texting WIN to 500, or using the Telecel Play App. Points are earned through airtime recharges, bundle purchases and Telecel Cash deposits of GH¢10 or more.
Telecel says the promotion is available to customers across Ghana’s 16 regions and has urged winners to remain vigilant, stressing that it will never request payment, a Telecel Cash PIN or any fee to claim a prize.
