Ghana’s Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has met with French Ambassador to Ghana, Diarra Dime-Labille, to discuss cooperation in telecommunications and digital infrastructure.
The discussions focused on expanding affordable and reliable connectivity, improving access to data and broadcasting services, and developing solutions that reflect the needs of Ghanaian consumers.
They also explored opportunities for French investment in Ghana’s digital infrastructure. Sam George reaffirmed the government’s commitment to creating a competitive and transparent environment to attract investment and improve digital services.
The two officials also discussed efforts to tackle digital disinformation and potential collaboration ahead of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in November.
